Application Guidelines | AIGC Lighting Innovation Design Award - Special Award of the 11th Asian Lighting Design Awards
The AIGC Lighting Innovation Design Award is a distinctive award under the 11th "Asian Lighting Design Awards." It focuses on the cross-border integration of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology and lighting design, aiming to recognize outstanding lighting conceptual design works that achieve creative breakthroughs, technological innovations, and artistic expressions using AIGC tools, thereby promoting the development of the lighting industry towards digital and intelligent innovation.
Applications for the Asian Lighting Design Awards opened on December 31, 2025. In addition to the special award, this edition of the awards continues to retain six competition categories: individual buildings, temporary structures, road, bridge and park projects, interior spaces, cultural and tourism lighting, and light and shadow art.
Applicant Eligibility and Scope
Lighting design institutions and design faculty and student teams from colleges and universities worldwide are eligible to apply. The application scope is as follows:
1. Indoor and outdoor lighting environment design effects (including commercial spaces, public spaces, urban blocks, landscape lighting, etc.);
Light and shadow art installations, interactive lighting designs, and immersive lighting project effects;

If third-party materials (such as models or workflows) are involved, their sources must be indicated, and proof of usage authorization must be provided.
