The "AI + Lighting" Joint Innovation Center Signs Agreement in Chengdu, Opening a New Chapter for Western Industry

On January 16, 2026, Chengdu once again became the focal point of technological innovation. The 2025 year-end summary meeting of the Sichuan Lighting Appliance Association and the industrial promotion event in Wuhou District, themed "Smart Lighting, Low-carbon Future - Building a New High Ground for the AI Lighting Industry in Western China," were successfully held. The signing ceremony of the "AI + Lighting" Joint Innovation Center was also grandly held during this event.

At the signing ceremony, Yan Yonghong, President of the Asian Association of Lighting Designers (AALD) and Professor/Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Chongqing University; Yang Guang, Executive President of the Lighting Design Committee of the Sichuan Lighting Appliance Association; and Ma Bin, Founder of Zhongzhao Jinzhi, jointly signed the cooperation agreement. Several industry leaders and experts, including Wang Zhuo, Secretary-General of the China Lighting Appliance Association, attended the ceremony as witnesses.

Event Venue

At the meeting, Mr. Ma Bin shared practical experiences in the implementation of AI technology with the theme of "AI Lighting Implementation Practice Driven by New Quality Productive Forces." In his speech, he advocated "entrusting complex tasks to silicon-based systems and returning a wonderful life to carbon-based beings," driving the high-quality development of the lighting industry with new quality productive forces.

This cooperation aims to integrate the advantages of all parties in industry leadership, technological innovation, local resources, and industrial ecology around the "Western AI Lighting Industrial Park," and transform the Wuhou Economic Development Zone into a leading domestic high ground for AI lighting technology research and development and an industrial cluster area. This signing not only brings new development opportunities to the lighting industry in Chengdu and the entire western region but also provides reference experiences and models for the intelligent transformation of the national lighting industry.
